A trusted advisor to CIOs and executive leadership

23+ years helping executive teams across the GCC modernize infrastructure, adopt cloud responsibly, and prepare for the AI era — with vendor-neutral, board-ready advice.

Why I advise

Most technology decisions are made either too fast, under vendor pressure, or too slow, paralyzed by internal politics. My role is to give executive teams a third option: a clear-eyed, independent view that lets them decide with confidence.

What problems I solve

The organizations I work with are usually facing one of three moments: infrastructure that has outgrown its architecture, a cloud journey that has stalled or sprawled, or an AI ambition that has outpaced its data and governance foundations. In every case, the fix starts with an honest assessment, not a sales pitch.

Leadership philosophy

Technology leadership is a discipline of translation — between the boardroom and the engineering room, between risk appetite and technical reality. 23+ years split between hands-on delivery and executive advisory means I can operate credibly in both rooms, and translate between them without losing fidelity.

Professional Journey

Two decades of engineering, architecture, leadership and strategic advisory

My career has been defined by continuous progression — from designing and operating enterprise infrastructure to shaping technology strategy alongside executive leadership. Each stage expanded my perspective, combining deep technical expertise with architectural thinking, operational excellence and business alignment.

Rather than specializing in a single technology, I have built a broad enterprise perspective across infrastructure, cloud, platforms, enterprise architecture and digital transformation — the range that lets me help organizations make technology decisions that deliver lasting business value.

Everything begins with a strong technical foundation.

Enterprise Infrastructure Engineering

The foundation of every recommendation I make today was built here — inside the infrastructure itself.

Two decades ago, my work was defined by designing, implementing and operating the systems that keep an enterprise running: compute, networking, storage and virtualization platforms; Microsoft technologies and Active Directory environments; backup, disaster recovery and high-availability architectures built to survive the day things go wrong, not just the day they go right.

What this developed

This foundation continues to shape every architectural and strategic decision I make — recommendations that sound right on a slide but fail in production are visible to me long before they're built.

Expanding from implementation into architecture.

Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design

Delivering individual solutions well eventually raises a bigger question: how do they fit together?

This stage marked the shift from delivering technical solutions to designing enterprise-wide platforms — balancing scalability, resilience, governance and integration against long-term business objectives, across healthcare, government, financial services and enterprise technology environments where the cost of a wrong architectural decision compounds for years.

What this developed

This is where systems thinking took hold — the ability to see an organization's technology estate as a single, interconnected system, and to align architecture decisions with the business outcomes they ultimately serve.

Leading people, platforms and enterprise modernization.

Technology Leadership & Transformation

Architecture alone doesn't transform an organization — leadership does.

Leading infrastructure functions, cloud transformation programs, platform engineering initiatives, DevOps adoption and site reliability practices taught me that modernization is never purely technical. It is a change-leadership discipline: building capability in the people who operate the platform, establishing governance that survives beyond a single leader, and enabling the organizational maturity that makes the next transformation easier, not harder.

What this developed

Successful transformation depends equally on technology, people, governance and culture — a lesson every subsequent engagement has confirmed.

Helping executive leaders make better technology decisions.

Executive Advisory & Enterprise Strategy

Today, my work sits beside the executive table, not beneath it.

I partner with CIOs and executive leadership to define enterprise technology strategy, build investment-grade roadmaps, evaluate architecture independently, guide modernization programs, enable AI readiness and strengthen technology governance — always anchored to a single question: does this decision create measurable business value?

What this developed

This stage combines engineering depth, architectural thinking, leadership experience and strategic objectivity into a single consulting capability — the one I bring to every engagement today.

Today, I combine the technical depth of an engineer, the systems thinking of an architect, the perspective of a technology leader and the objectivity of an independent advisor. Whether guiding enterprise modernization, shaping cloud strategy or enabling AI readiness, my focus remains the same: helping organizations make technology decisions that create lasting business value. The following pages outline how that translates into an engagement.
